A question I often get as a medium is whether I see spirits the way I would see living people standing in front of me. 

While media has certainly helped mediums to be more understood, it has also contributed to some misconceptions, and this is one of them.

Seeing spirits is not like seeing someone on the street. If that were the case, you would see mediums talking to the air all the time...and that doesn't happen. In the spiritual realm, living and deceased energetically look the same, however on the physical level, they couldn't be more different.

Think about what it's like to have a daydream. Sometimes you can become so focused on the daydream that it is almost (but not quite) real in your physical vision. This is what it is like when I see spirits (clairvoyance). It's like a daydream, and seeing two realities at the same time, with the spiritual realm having a more dreamlike quality.

You are healing, growing and evolving during the reading, even when you don't consciously feel it. At the end of a reading, I couldn't tell you how many people report feeling better, more energized and more optimistic and at peace.
